FinallyWhitefootranalongtheoldbenchandjumpedfromtheendofitforaboxstandingonend,whichFarmerBrown’sboysometimesusedtositon. Itwasn’taverylongjump,butsomehowWhitefootmisjudgedit. Hewasheedless,andhedidn’tjumpquitefarenough. Rightbesidethatboxwasatinpailhalffilledwithsap. Insteadoflandingonthebox,Whitefootlandedwithasplashinthatpailofsap.
