ButallwerecordialintheirgreetingstothestrangersandseemedtoregardtheQueenofLightwithmuchaffection,fortheyflutteredaroundherinaflashing,radiantgroupassheledthewaytoherregaldrawing-room. Thisapartmentwasrichlyandcozilyfurnished,theupholsterybeingofmanytints,andbothBetsyandPolychromeenjoyedrestingthemselvesuponthedownydivansaftertheirstrenuousadventuresoftheday.
