AtfirstherelinquishedhisholdofAlice;thenhecaughtupathongofbuckskin,whichhadbeenusedaroundsomebundle,andwhenhebeheldhisenemywithhistwoarmspinnedtohissidebytheironmusclesofthescout,herusheduponhim,andeffectuallysecuredthemthere. Arms,legs,andfeetwereencircledintwentyfoldsofthethong,inlesstimethanwehavetakentorecordthecircumstance.
