Andthemirroralwaysusedtoreply:
"Queen,Queen,onthythrone,
Thegreatestbeautyisthineown."
ButSnowWhitegrewfairerandfairereveryyear,tillatlastonedaywhentheQueeninthemorningspoketohermirrorandsaid:
"Mirror,mirror,onthewall,
Whoisthefairestofusall?"
themirrorreplied:
"Queen,Queen,onthythrone,
SnowWhite'sthefairestthoumustown."
ThentheQueengrewterriblyjealousofSnowWhiteandthoughtandthoughthowshecouldgetridofher,tillatlastshewenttoahunterandengagedhimforalargesumofmoneytotakeSnowWhiteoutintotheforestandtherekillherandbringbackherheart.
ButwhenthehunterhadtakenSnowWhiteoutintotheforestandthoughttokillher,shewassobeautifulthathisheartfailedhim,andhelethergo,tellinghershemustnot,forhissakeandforherown,returntotheKing'spalace.ThenhekilledadeerandtookbackthehearttotheQueen,tellingherthatitwastheheartofSnowWhite.
